Why Keurig Mini not powering on?

If you’re troubleshooting your Keurig Mini and trying to figure out why it’s not powering on, there are a few potential causes.

  • There could be an issue with the power cord. Check to see if the cord is plugged in properly and that there is no damage to the cord.
  • The water reservoir could be empty. Make sure to fill the reservoir with water before trying to power on the Keurig Mini.
  • The coffee filter might be dirty. A dirty coffee filter can prevent the Keurig Mini from powering on. Try cleaning the coffee filter to see if that fixes the issue.
  • There could be a problem with the Keurig Mini itself. If none of the above troubleshooting tips fix the issue, there may be a problem with the Keurig Mini itself. In this case, it may need to be replaced.
  • The power outlet could be the issue. If the Keurig Mini is plugged into a power outlet that is not working, it will not power on. Try plugging the Keurig Mini into a different power outlet to see if that fixes the issue.

OTHER USER SAME PROBLEMS

I hate this machine. It happens all the time especially when using a Solofil K-cup with my own ground beans. I just ordered an older single cup maker K-15. I had one of these for 5+ years with no issues until it finally kicked the bucket.

I’ve had this problem on my k mini recently, seems to happen when I fill to 6oz. Perhaps it’s slightly under what the machine thinks it needs to make one cup, because I found adding a bit more water and letting it drain that will allow the unit to boil the water and make a cup.

Now I want to add a New and most recently update:New and more effective solution:Open the lid (main Mini Keurig Lid)if you want strong press strong buttonTurn off the Mini Keurig (but keep it open, DO NOT close the lid)Take out the previous and used capsule (in case you have one inside the Keurig)Add the new Keurig kcup (leave open the lid and don’t turn on yet, only introduce the kcup)Open the water tank and add the water (I usually add the water just near the hole)Close the water recipient lid.Place the Mug in place to receive the coffeeFinal step close the main lid (that will turn on your Mini Keurig), but immediately press the brewing button to start to brew your coffee. From the moment I started to do it with those steps, it works at the first try, and I don’t have to open and close many times the Main Lid. Hope it works to others. If you try and it works, leave some comments to others can read it.

This is super late, but my issue was that the little nipple button, located close to where you put the k-cup, was not being depressed when the lid was closed. If you hold this button down when pressing the large “k-button”, it should start sucking in water.
